MOX

A complete identity for a new start-up massage therapist, MOX. The name derives from traditional Chinese ‘moxibustion’ therapy. The goal was to create an identity which feels modern and premium, but retains some of the traditional and ingredient-focussed feel.

BOTTLES

A range of bottles had to be branded in various sizes – mainly massage oils which are supplied as part of a starter pack to wholesale. The illustrations wrap around the bottles, creating a flowing and colour-rich graphic. Three primary massage oils were created initially – each with a key ingredient which features in the illustrations; lavender, mint and rosemary.

ILLUSTRATIONS

Detailed pencil illustrations of ingredients weave between the modern typography. A yin-yang symbol is subtly featured as the ‘X’ character – this was a must-have from the client so posed a challenge to include it without making the brand too cliché.
